New Shoes

Bubby and Papo bought Karter his first pair of shoes...

Hey, I put some new shoes on,And suddenly everything is right,I said, hey, I put some new shoes on and everybody's smiling,It's so inviting,Oh, short on money,But long on time,Slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine,And I'm running late,And I don't need an excuse,'cause I'm wearing my brand new shoes.... Karter LOVES to walk

Recently Karter is NOT happy doing anything but walking... not interested in crawling, sitting or playing with his toys. He is very dertermined to walk and would practice all day long if someone would hold his hands and make pit stops to pick up whatever he can from the floor to hold while he's walking

On the Go

Karter is a new mobile man! He is crawling all over, exploring and investigating everything from Lionel's dog food to the pots and pans in what is now Karter's kitchen cabinet. Today he pulled himself up up without any assistance.

I need eyes in the back of my head... This weekend is baby proofing!

1st Tooth

Karter's 1st bottom left tooth came through a couple of days ago. I can feel the bottom right one too. I don't think it has caused him to much pain. There were a few times he seemed to be bothered and I had to give him Motrin and Orajel but overall not to fussy!

Washington DC

This weekend we took at family trip to Washington DC to visit Stace. Stace has made such an effort to see Karter at least 1x per month since he has been born. After taking the trip this weekend I realized that its a long one. Stace is a great Aunt and Karter is very lucky to have her in his life! We went to the National Zoo on Sat and saw some many great animals including - Sea Lions, Pandas, Tigers, Lions, Fish and Cows just to name a few.

2nd Annual Breath for Nate Walk

This year Karter was able to walk with us to remember and raise money for Nate and his scholarship. Carlee said the turn out was even better than last year. The day was perfect and Nate was looking down on us in a form of a rainbow - there was no rain that day. Nate we miss you and I know Karter would have loved you and vise versa. Here's the gang!
